imagine the scene; an average high-schooler. senior year finals. the night before. his eyelids heavy with the need for sleep, but his future heavy with the need to study. procrastination was definitely to blame...
a sigh. a yawn. an excuse to get outta the house. a slow walk towards a nameless, back-alley market. a purchase.
our senior returns home. another yawn. he prepares the coffee maker slowly, cautiously emptying the just-bought 'Death Wish' beans into the jug. he brews them slowly. smells divine.
pours the finished coffee into a mug. no cream added. too tired to care. he gulps it down.
& lets just say ... he doesn't sleep for another 24hours.
or the next week after that ; brewing one religiously every evening until he ran out.
